RYT-200
My journey with yoga began when my mother gifted me my first yoga mat and a book of asanas when I was a teenager, though it wasn’t until 2015 that I developed a consistent practice. After her passing in 2018, yoga became my anchor, grounding me through the waves of my grief. I vividly remember realizing I wanted to teach that year while resting in savasana at a studio in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, where I lived at the time. Yoga had been a steady source of comfort to me, and I felt a deep calling to share it with others.
In early 2020, I earned my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification. Little did I know the pandemic would soon delay my plans to begin teaching! In 2023, after eight years on the West Coast, I returned to my birthplace, Chicago, where I now live with my young family.
In 2025, while pregnant with my second child, I completed my 80-hour Pre- and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Certification and have since enjoyed supporting people through pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Blending my love of music with my passion for yoga, I infuse my classes with song, chanting, and the soothing tones of sound bowls. I also incorporate chimes, vocals, and a looper to create an immersive sound bath experience. My intention is to create a serene and uplifting space that invites students to connect more deeply with themselves.
Off the mat, I enjoy creative writing, getting lost in a good book, and exploring astrology.
I warmly welcome students of all abilities to join me on the mat, where they are invited to explore the healing beauty of movement and breath in a supportive, heart-centered space.
